UNLOCK YOUR POTENTIAL
Careers are very connected to feeling fulfilled, creating meaning, and overall happiness in life. Careers ideally should be consistent with your interests, values, skills, and personality. Sometimes having a grasp on these components of self can be confusing. Knowledge of these aspects of oneself helps to figure out what to do in terms of a career. To evaluate these distinct domains we do this through assessments.
The testing process includes the use of assessments such as: The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to assess your Personality Type; The Strong Interest And Skills Confidence Profile; A values assessment
Career counseling is the process of using the assessment data, along with information regarding your current career development issues, and then working collaboratively to focus on next steps to achieve your career oriented goals.
You can work one-on-one with a career counselor to identify what career success means to you.
At the Center for Therapy & Counseling Services, we aim to provide personalized career counseling services. This process typically involves 5 or 6 sessions (about 50 minutes each session). Your task as the client is to make sure to take the computer based assigned assessment before attending each session (links to the assessment will be provided). A final report will be provided at the end of services.
Meet one-on-one with your career counselor to build a customized plan based on your unique goals.
Career counseling at the Center for Therapy & Counseling Services can benefit people at all points in their careers, from high school students approaching the next stage in their education to adults returning to the workforce after an absence, seeking to change career mid-life, or planning a post-retirement second career.
Fees (all fees include the assessments being administered): $65 per session + $135 for the final report or a Packaged product consisting of 5 sessions for $250 + $135 for the final report
